Snively was arrested at about 3 a.m. Sept. 29, after a Grand Haven Department of Public Safety officer responded to a noise disturbance call at an upstairs apartment in the 700 block of Clinton St.

Officer Joe Schulte went to the apartment and was confronted by Snively, who struck the officer several times with a wine bottle.

The teenager pleaded no contest Monday to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and resisting and obstructing a police officer with serious injury. Both are felony crimes, and Snively faces up to 15 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 7.
