Joyce Renee Phillips, 55, of Grand Rapids entered the plea Thursday in the shooting death of 44-year-old Michael Anthony Richardson. Phillips faces up to 15 years in prison when she's sentenced Jan. 22.
Richardson died of a gunshot wound Feb. 12, 2004. Phillips initially told police she was at home at the time and didn't see what happened.
