A woman was robbed Thursday night near a residence hall. Police said a man was robbed a few minutes later on the west end of the school's Kalamazoo campus. No one was injured.

Police said young men are being sought in the robberies. Details of the weapons used weren't released.

Authorities said a robbery of an off-campus convenience store on Thursday night by two men with a handgun may be related.

Well, this is very useful for the WMU students - apparently the felons were invisible persons, since the AP has failed to identify them - were they tall or short?; were they blond haired and blue eyed?; were they men or women? were they in their 80's or teens?; were they light skinned or dark skinned?; were they Semitic, Indo-European, African, Middle-Eastern, Caucasian, Mongoloid?

Based on this politically correct report, WMU students should be as wary of octogenarian Methodists as gangbangers of color.

Why even publish this politically correct drivel?
