The suspects, who were not identified pending their arraignment, were arrested Tuesday, police said. The investigation is continuing for a third suspect.

Norton Shores Police were called to the Meijer store at 700 W. Norton on Dec. 6, where a man said he had been pickpocketed in the parking lot. A female suspect asked the man for assistance with her vehicle, police said. While he was checking the oil, the suspect stole his wallet.

The suspect and her acquaintances used the stolen credit cards at several businesses in Norton Shores and Fruitport Township, police said.

Similar incidents were reported in Muskegon and Grand Haven Township.

Working on the case are officers from the Norton Shores and Muskegon police departments, and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
