The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on East Apple Avenue (M-46) and South Canada Road in Casnovia.
Police said the truck was headed south on South Canada Road when the driver struck the rear of the bus. The crash forced the bus into a ditch, where it came to rest on its side.
Two students from Kent Intermediate Schools were on the bus, but no one was hurt.
Police reopened M-46 about two hours after the crash.
