William Russell Odett, 41, pleaded guilty on Monday in federal court in Grand Rapids. He will also be required to register as a sex offender, according to U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles Jr.
Odett was investigated in May 2012 when an undercover officer was able to download child pornography that Odett had made available on the Internet. Odett's home was then searched and a substantial collection of child pornography was found.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department investigated the case.
