Fire damages Fruitport-area condominium

The fire started shortly before 5 a.m. at a condo on Grevel Court. The residents were able to make it out of the building safely and no one was injured, authorities said.

Crews on the scene said only one unit in the two-unit building was damaged by the fire.

The fire was under control before 5:30 a.m.
