Emergency workers sent an all-terrain vehicle out to help get to the trail where the man, who was working on the boardwalk, rested. The caller was performing CPR on the man.
Police said the two men were constructing a boardwalk on one of the park's new trails. The 46-year-old Kentwood-area man became tired and sat down, then collapsed, said Deputy Bob Jewell of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.\
The man's co-worker saw him fall, immediately called 911 and started CPR, Jewell said.

Where is Connor Bayou County Park located? I would like to check it out.
The park is on North Cedar Drive just to the east of 128th. No rush to see it though. The county has already taken what was a beautiful piece of secluded land and completely destroyed it with parking lots, board walks, and lovely smelling pit toilets. I used to be able to sit on the river bank and see eagles, cranes and deer every day. Since the "improvement", I rarely see wildlife.
