Two other people were killed in the crash, according to reports from Cornell College, ABC 7 News and the WCF Courier.

Cornell College officials reported that sophomore Colin Bertucci was injured in the crash and was listed in stable condition at an Iowa City hospital. He was not receiving visitors at the time, officials said.

Bertucci is a graduate of Grand Haven High School where he was a star wrestler. He was also on the wrestling team at Cornell.

"He's in rough shape," said Mike Duroe, Cornell College wrestling coach. Duroe said he spent time with Colin on Sunday and was going back to the hospital today.

"He's a really strong kid. We're hopeful he'll make a full recovery," Duroe said.

Another Cornell college student, Madison "Addie" Hubert, 18, was killed in the crash. She was a passenger in a Buick Rendezvous driven by Jeffrey Bertucci, 46, of Norton Shores, police said.

Also killed was Wilbur D. Bigler, 68, of  West Union, Iowa, the driver of the other vehicle.

The crash was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday on Highway 1, two miles north of Solon near 120th Street.

Four others were hurt in the crash. They included:

--- Jeffrey Bertucci, who was transported to University Hospitals in Iowa City. He was listed in good condition Tusday morning.

--- Sherri Ann Bertucci, 44, of Norton Shores, Mich., taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City. She was listed in serious condition Tuesday morning.

--- Colin Bertucci, 20, of Michigan, who was air-lifted to University Hospitals. No information on Colin was available from the hospital Tuesday morning.

--- Camden Bertucci, 16, of Michigan, also transported to University Hospitals. He was listed in good condition early Monday afternoon. Officials reported Tuesday morning that he has been discharged from the hospital.

Troopers said Bigler was believed to be going southbound on Highway 1 in his Buick Lucerne when he lost control, crossed the center line and struck the Bertucci vehicle broadside on the passenger side. The crash remains under investigation.
