Karen Lynn Visch left her home in the 9000 block of Fillmore Street in Blendon Township at about 8 p.m. Monday and was driving to Cascade Township in Kent County, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department. She had left a phone message with a friend at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said Visch also missed an appointment with her 19-year-old daughter on Tuesday morning.

Visch's family told police that she is on medication that she did not have with her.

Visch was found in Midland County with her car on Tuesday evening, about 24 hours after she was last seen in Ottawa County. Lt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said she "suffered a medical event," but was unharmed. She was taken to a Midland hospital for evaluation.

Her family was on their way to Midland on Tuesday night to reunite with her, Bennett said.
