Court records say a psychiatrist determined following a review that Amber Wilson isn't competent to stand trial or assist in her own defense. A judge is expected to review the determination.

Records say Wilson told her 63-year-old mother and 74-year-old stepfather that they were "going to die" before swinging a hatchet at them in their Wyoming home on March 6.

Police said the parents escaped and flagged down a patrol car. Their injuries from the attack weren't life-threatening.

Wilson was charged with attempted murder and felonious assault after the attack.
