Todd Allen Glockzin, 43, will be sentenced June 17 to the charge of operating while intoxicated.

Police said Glockzin drove his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck off the road and hit a mailbox shortly after 10 p.m. April 6 near the Millhouse Bayou Bridge in Grand Haven Township.

The truck struck the end of the bridge rail and bounced across Mercury Drive before hitting another bridge rail. The truck went over the rail, rolled over at least once and landed upright in a marshy area.

Glockzin suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital. A passenger in his truck — Tonya Sue Korving, 43 — suffered minor injuries in the crash.

This was the second crash on April 6 in a mile-long stretch of Mercury Drive. Spencer McGregor, 18, died early that morning when he wrapped the vehicle he drove around a tree off Mercury near Ammeraal Street.
