Police are looking for a bluish-green Pontiac Grand Am or Bonneville with right front-end damage. They say the car hit Drew Johnson, who was riding a mo-ped on M-104 in Spring Lake Township.

The actual color is called manta-green metallic, said Sgt. Steve Austin of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. But the vehicle has a bluish tint to it, he said.

Witnesses to the crash said a white male was driving the car. After the crash, the car east on M-104, Austin said. A partial license plate number, CMZ, was obtained by witnesses.

Anyone with information on the crash, the car or driver is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 616-738-4000, or Silent Observer at 877-88-SILENT.
