I feel very bad for that gas station attendant. I hope they didn't have any more money than 100.00 in their draw because they will fire the attendant over this. Employees who work at the admiral gas stations make 7.40 per hour with no raise except the manager and assistant managers who make more. Hopefully that criminal gets caught!!!

I wouldn't care what company policy is - If I'm going to be a cashier clerk - I'm going to be armed & I would never tell anybody. $7.40 an hour is not worth handing my life over to some crook to easily take without some kind of personal defense while some corporate vice president sits in his cushy office making 7 figures. But these are desperate times and criminals are resorting to stupid options.

True that Z....cameras didn't prevent this, just recorded the crime.

Minimum two people should be working at all times in these gas stations. They are sitting ducks for these warts to come in and rob them.

I agree 100% about the 2 attendant policy. Another thing that may assist is putting cameras in a location that catches the person's face while they are facing the attendant. Obviously this view only catches their face when they turn around the RUN from the store. A better position would catch their face for the full time they are standing there. Just a though.
