Police said Taylor Raymond of Georgetown Township was driving south on 68th Avenue in Blendon Township shortly after 3 p.m. Friday when he nodded off. His car continued through a stop sign at the intersection with Fillmore Street, across an apartment complex's frontyard and into a vacant apartment.
The car stopped halfway into the apartment, in the kitchen/dining area, said Sgt. Dean DeVries of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.
WZZM-TV reported that Raymond had been awake all night and then went directly to work.
Raymond was checked out by paramedics at the scene and released.
