Kelly Ann Boyce died after being hit just before 2 a.m. Friday in Traverse City, and 58-year-old Petoskey resident Daniel Adams was killed following a car-bicycle accident in Oden on Thursday afternoon.

In the Traverse City incident, police are looking for the driver of a dark SUV or pickup truck. They said Boyce was struck while riding home from a gig featuring her husband, who's a musician.

According to Traverse City police, the 29-year-old was dragged for one and a half blocks to the area where she was discovered by officers.

Meanwhile, Emmet County Sheriff Pete Wallin said Adams was hit by a van driven by a 30-year-old man.

The sheriff said the accident remains under investigation.
