Police said George Milliken was riding his 2010 Triumph south on 128th Avenue when a deer crossed his path, north of Ferris Street, at 1:18 p.m. The motorcycle struck the deer and rolled, causing "significant injuries" to Milliken, said Sgt. John Wolffis of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.

Wolffis said Milliken was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash, but did not say if he was taken to a hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.

Really not much to investigate. Motorcycle had right of way. Deer was wrong and should get the ticket.
