Grand Rapids Public Schools spokesman John Helmholdt said the janitor was fired Monday after a bystander reported the offer.

The janitor acknowledged her role, which occurred during lunch at Campus Elementary School. Helmholdt said that it's "absolutely unacceptable in any way, shape or form for an employee to behave in this manner."

An investigation is ongoing. Helmholdt said the remarks from the student involved included a "curse word and unflattering comments."

The janitor started working at Campus this year.

Holy Moly. Just when you think that the bar can go no lower, someone comes along and drops it down another notch.
How do you get by in life when you can't even maintain enough decorum to be a janitor.

ahhh, you noticed that too eh?

I hate acronyms with a passion. It indicates laziness and an inability to spell. (that's related to the stalkers' gibberish, not your reply).

What does the janitor really have to lose? Person is privatized, lowest pay and no benefits of any kind. It will happen again with another. Those jobs are a dime a dozen and decorum is non existent.

Well, just because the job sucks is no reason not to try and have some self-respect.

If the position is protected by SEIU the person will get promoted out sight, any sensitivity training will involve how insensitive it was to offer a lowly Dollar, a good youth corps union thug gets at least $20.00 per insult, $25.00 each physical contact causing contusion or swelling and $100.00 per voter turned away!
