Emergency workers responded quickly, tending to Bill Sutton, who remained conscious, before sending him to the hospital via ambulance by 10:42 a.m.

OMG...don't tell me it's Eugene again!? If so, perhaps it's time for the State to tuck him away in a nice nursing home, FOR HIS OWN SAFETY!!!

Hang in there Bill God's blessings on a speedy recovery!

Old people shouldn't be walking around.

Old people have just as much right to walk as anyone else. We live close and it seems it's more stupid people's driving rather than old people's walking. SLOW DOWN!

He's a troll. Just ignore him. A funny troll, but still not a good idea to feed 'em.

Old people shouldn't be posting in forums either.

Tri-cities realist

Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right away, rather than cars, last I checked.

Yes you are correct, pedestrians have the right away unfortunately like any other traffic law it will never ensure safety for anyone and is not a dome of protection. If you are walking, riding or jogging amongst traffic both drivers and pedestrians responsible for their own safety, wasn't there a state traffic safety campaign years ago called "Watch out for the other guy"?

I have been almost hit more then once from drivers. They seem to forget that drivers ed class that told who has the right of road.

Well if you own a perfectly good car and choose to walk instead, that's your fault.

I used to rent on that corner years ago, its a busy intersection with cars moving at 35 so I kept the hedges trimmed to see the road in any direction, they've grown really tall and I wonder if lack of visibility was a contributing factor.

I realize this makes me a bad person.... but ggravish, I literally LOL'd when I ready your ridiculousness.

Not bad, maybe alittle twisted :-) I laugh at his goofy comments too.
