Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Fruitport Township Police responded to the crash at 4:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Airline and Hile roads.

Police said the woman was driving west on Hile Road near Airline, and made a left turn in front of an eastbound vehicle.

The collision resulted in both cars leaving the road and striking a third vehicle, which was waiting to exit a parking lot.

The driver of the westbound vehicle was lodged in Muskegon County Jail following the crash. Her name was not released.

Police said she had one prior alcohol-related driving conviction.

They should make it illegal to be drunk and drive...that will fix it!

Tri-cities realist

Haha. Can't legislate stupidity!

But you can legislate stupidly!

When you read about a drunk driver killing someone, it's usually following numerous offenses and loss of license. This princess has only a couple of unfortunate situations involving alcohol. Let's give her another chance, or as many as it takes to get it right. Works for sex offenders.

You are more right than we'd like to know Uncle; I had a neighbor that had 13 DUI’s and still drove, he had three wrecks while drunk, twice he went to prison because of the wrecks but spent three years of a 15 year sentence each time, by the end of the first day he was home he was drunk again. He boasted how the court showed mercy and charged him as though he only had three dui convictions…so much for help from the court, they are dealing with overcrowded prisons and beds needed for the endless masses of illegals who dealt drugs and killed people needing the cells (this was down south).
