Fruitport Township Police responded to a fight at the intersection of Fruitport Road and Walker Road at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday – after a minor rear-end crash.

Police said a 22-year-old man passed a vehicle driven by a 43-year old man on Fruitport Road.

The older man then closely followed the younger man and hit the back of that vehicle when the younger man applied his brakes.

Both men got out of their cars and started fighting.

No medical treatment was needed, as neither man was seriously injured, police said.

No arrests were made.

The report was forwarded to the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s office for consideration of criminal charges and traffic violations.
