An employee of the Marathon gas station at 2806 S. Getty St. said a man with a semiautomatic pistol approached the checkout counter and demanded money. The employee complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the store on foot. Norton Shores police officers were able to track the suspect’s footprints in the snow west on East Broadway to a point where it appeared he entered a waiting vehicle.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 20 years old, and 5 foot 9 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black canvas hooded coat, black jeans, gloves and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691 or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.

bigdeal

That's not a 'man' they are looking for, it is a lazy no-good mouth- breathing drug addict sorry excuse for a human being they are searching for. Let's get that straight. Hopefully they find him, convict him, and then he could be someone's new girlfriend.
