Interstate-196 was closed between 44th and 32nd avenues and M-6 was closed from I-196 to 8th Avenue.

Crews were called to Interstate Warehousing in Hudsonville shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday after its roof collapsed due to snow. It happened at the cold storage unit on Highland Drive.

The collapse released 4,000 pounds of ammonia inside the building. The chemical was trapped inside the building when crews arrived.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department evacuated several businesses along Corporate Grove and told nearby residents to stay in their homes.

No one was hurt in the collapse.
