Holland man busted in mobile meth lab

A Holland man is in the Van Buren County Jail after deputies say they found materials for a meth lab in his car.

Van Buren County deputies spotted a car make a traffic violation at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday near 72nd Street and 30th Avenue in Covert Township. After stopping the car, officers did a field sobriety test on the driver, who failed several of the exercises.

Thomas Spangler, 27, was then arrested for driving under the influence of meth. Police said they also found meth, meth lab materials, marijuana and ammunition in the Holland man’s car.

Spangler was also arrested on charges including driving with a suspended license and operating an unlicensed vehicle. He also has outstanding warrants from Ottawa and Berrien counties.

Spangler has a criminal history that includes convictions for breaking and entering and possession of stolen property in Ottawa and Van Buren counties.

If this guy can't stand being free then the state will accommodate him. Looks to me that the man is a menace to everyone, including his self. He ought to bring the Lord into his life, I guess.
