Crews from the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety and Grand Haven Township Fire-Rescue responded to the incident.

Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to look for a problem associated with a furnace on the roof, an official said.

No flames were seen and firefighters cleared the scene a short time later.
