The Norton Shores Police Department seeks the public’s help in identifying cell phone store thieves that hit the Sprint stores in Allendale and Norton Shores.

They have an additional surveillance video that they ask people view for clues that may help their investigation.

Chief Daniel Shaw said his department is investigating a burglary, which occurred at about 6:12 a.m. April 8 at the Sprint Store by the mall at 5169 Harvey, in Norton Shores.

It is believed that five suspects forcibly entered the rear door of the Sprint Store and then stole numerous cellphones and electronic devices. Similar to the Sprint store burglary in Allendale earlier that same day, suspects were in the store only a matter of a few minutes.

All of the suspects wore hooded sweatshirts, face masks and gloves.

Investigators have acquired security video from a nearby store capturing an image of the suspect vehicle as it circled the Sprint Store and parked at the rear door. The suspect vehicle appears to be a dark SUV.

Investigators are still attempting to determine if this burglary is related to two other cellular store burglaries in Ottawa County.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691.
