The host Rams won the event with a 297, while the Buccaneers shot a 327.

Matt Nalley shot a 77 for the Buccaneers, which was good for sixth place as an individual overall.

“Matt, like a good artist, has made many great swings all year long, but just couldn’t put the finishing touches on his piece of art until today,” said coach Randy White.

Reid Murphy also medaled, with an 81, and was followed by Tyler VandenBrand with an 82.

This week will be a busy one for Grand Haven, as it is at Spring Lake today, before competing in the O-K Red tournament on Tuesday and districts on Thursday.

“I hope we continue to build confidence and momentum as we head into next week’s schedule,” White said.
