Grand Haven’s bats were silent in Wednesday’s O-K Red Conference softball showdown against Grandville.

The Buccaneers managed just two hits — one each by Katelyn Messer and Audrey Boersen.

Grandville pounded out 13 hits over the five-inning game, eight of which were bunt singles.

The Bulldogs scored eight runs in the third inning thanks to a pair of errors, three walks and six base hits.
