Fans who pack Buccaneer Stadium to watch Grand Haven’s varsity football team take the field this fall will have a chance to see a revamped game plan under new head coach Jason Duram.

Duram took some time earlier this week to answer three burning questions his team faces as it prepares for its Aug. 28 season opener at Fruitport.

What will be the biggest difference Buccaneers’ fans will see this year from previous seasons?

Duram: “Offensively, you’re going to see a little bit more emphasis on the running game. We’re going to be doing some things to pound the football a little more, put us in better situations to be more effective in the running game, get control of the clock, clock management, try to control the time of possession. We’re going to be real physical up front. … We’re seeing those things come together. It’s going to be fun. I have the utmost confidence in our offensive line. That’s going to be the strong point of our team this year, shoving people around.”

Really, some more "up the middle Farley plays" that produced two loosing seasons.Looking back on the years we did have a winning teem it was because we had a good QB an recivers. I am not sure why we are having proublems with training QB's an recivers but intil that changes I don't see Grand Haven having a very good season, but than again I could be very wrong, either way I will cheer the teem on and be their,go BUC'S. O,wile I am hear,I sure would like to see the food inprove at the food stand, seems like we could make a lot of money for the teem,I go to all the games out of town and have got some great food at other schools,it,s something I look foward to at the game to make a night of it.
