Fredrickson back in lineup, but ‘Jacks fall

The Muskegon Lumberjacks were able to overcome three one-goal deficits, but ultimately fell 5-4 to the Lincoln Stars at the Lincoln Icebox on Friday night. Brendan Woods took a slick cross-ice pass from Spring Lake HIgh School student Lance Fredrickson about midway through the third period and whistled a shot past the glove of Murdock. Fredrickson made his return to the lineup for the first time since New Year's Eve. Muskegon falls to 23-27-8 overall (54 points). The team sits in fifth place in the United States Hockey League's Eastern Conference.
