Whitecaps' season opener postponed

LANSING - The West Michigan Whitecaps will have to wait for another day to start the 2011 season. Thursday's scheduled opener in Lansing was postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader this evening, with first pitch scheduled for 5:05 p.m. as the Whitecaps and Lugnuts play a pair of seven-inning games.
