Weather forces more sports cancelations

Due to inclement weather, Grand Haven's freshman, junior varsity and varsity baseball games against Grandville have been canceled today, as has the Buccaneers' track and field meet at Jenison. The Bucs' boys and girls lacrosse teams will play their scheduled games despite the cold, wet conditions. The girls host Portage Northern and the boys travel to Holland Christian. In both cases, the JV games begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity games at 7. Grand Haven's girls water polo team will also hold its scheduled contest at Jenison at 7 p.m.

Spring Lake's varsity and junior varsity baseball and softball games against Ludington have been canceled, and Fruitport's varsity and JV baseball and softball games against Tri-County have been postponed and will be made up on May 27.
