Yoas' 8 goals propels GH girls lacrosse to victory

Mackenzie Yoas scored eight goals and added a pair of assists, leading Grand Haven's varsity girls lacrosse team to a 19-8 win over West Ottawa. Yoas also had seven draw controls, three ground balls and one caused turnover. Sandi Fredricks added four goals, three assists, three center circle draws and two ground ball captures for the Bucs. Goalie Sarah Shaw stopped 12 of the 20 shots she faced. The Buccaneers will host Grand Rapids Northview on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
