Spring Lake tennis flogs Fremont

Spring Lake's varsity girls tennis team cruised past Fremont on Monday, winning 8-0. The Lakers' Abbey Cook at No. 1 singles and Roxanne Strobel at No. 4 singles each won by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Audrey Aument won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles, while Mary Hamati won 6-1, 6-2 at third singles. The Lakers' top three doubles teams - Lauren Kelso and Hayley Schram at No. 1, Louise Silverman and Madison Khem at No. 2, and Katie Fisher and Faith Lee at No. 3 - each won 6-0, 6-0.

Fruitport’s girls tennis team suffered a 5-3 loss at the hands of Grant on Monday. Winning for the Trojans were Elnes Ohnewald at No. 1 singles, Kelsie Haase at No. 2 singles, and the No. 1 doubles team of Carrie LeBeouf and Emma Middlecamp.
