WMC SOCCER EARNS WIN

A goal with less than six minutes remaining in the game gave host Western Michigan Christian a 1-0 win Tuesday over Holland Black River.

The Lady Warriors (4-5 overall, 2-2 River Valley Conference) managed six shots, finally finding the back of the net from a nicely placed shot by junior Timera Crosby from fellow junior Rachel Karsten’s feed.

“There was so much frustration throughout our team as we did not play well in many areas of the game, but as winners do, they still found a way to win despite not really being dialed in,” WMC coach Dan McAllister said.
