Rockford blanks Haven booters

Grand Haven's varsity girls soccer team missed out on a chance to climb back into the O-K Red Conference race, losing at home to Rockford on Friday, 2-0. The visiting Rams scored a goal in each quarter and outshot the Buccaneers, 10-2. "We did not have a lot of offense,' said Grand Haven coach Cor Damhuis, whose team falls to 3-4-2 overall and 2-2 in O-K Red play. "We played boot ball and didn't find each other in the passing game. There are some things to work on.'
