Baseball roundup: Poel injured in Bucs' loss to R-P

Reeths-Puffer banged out 17 hits and pushed 12 runs across the plate in a 12-5 baseball win over Grand Haven on Wednesday. The Bucs tried to keep things close as Adam Poel doubled and singled and drove in a pair of runs, while Matt Kroll and Andy Davis each had an RBI. Poel, however, was injured during the game, hurting his leg as he slid into third base. According to coach Morey Wagenmaker, Poel did not suffer any broken bones, although he is taking precautionary measures and seeing a doctor about the injury.
