Keefe, the school record holder in the pole vault, won the event on Friday by clearing 11 feet, 2 inches. She was the team’s only regional champion.
Grand Haven boys coach Andy Mousseau was thrilled on Friday because he witnessed Joe Duff capture a third-straight regional title, and a school record fall.
The record fell in the 3,200 relay, as the team of Alex Kramer, Duff, Ryan Duff and Schalk Vanniekerk beat the 2005 record of 8:05 by nearly three seconds. They also took first overall at the regional.
