Prep roundup: Breit brothers break par for WMC golf

The Breit brothers from Western Michigan Christian both carded rounds under par Thursday at the Lincoln Golf Club, but Reeths-Puffer had all four golfers shoot in the 30s to win the triangle match over WMC, 152-153. Montague finished at 207. WMC senior Collin Breit was match medalist with a two-under par 34 while sophomore Alec shot a 35. Sam Vos had a 40 and Jon Cook a 44 for the Warriors. GH SOFTBALL SHUT OUT Grand Haven's varsity softball team suffered a 9-0 loss at the hands of Holland Christian on Thursday.

Kelsey DuShane had the lone hit for Grand Haven.

Today, the Bucs will host Spring Lake for the Cross River Rivalry. The game will also serve as a cancer fundraiser.
