The Gold team held an 88-84 with 50 seconds remaining when Burris — who scored 10 of his 19 points in the final five minutes — scored and was fouled. He completed a three-point play and then stole the inbounds pass and hit Muskegon’s Courtney Hill for the game-winner.

Lewis, who scored 10 points for the Gold in the first half, finished with 12.

Grand Haven’s Lindsey Burnside was a force in the paint throughout the evening in the West Michigan Girls Basketball All-Star Classic, also held at Muskegon Community College’s Bartels-Rode gymnasium.

The 6-foot Burnside grabbed 12 rebounds in her Gold team’s 61-51 victory.

Fremont’s Makenzie Hall was the Gold team’s leading scorer, as she finished with 13.
