GH's Abby Cole commits to U-M

Grand Haven junior-to-be Abby Cole recently committed to play volleyball at the University of Michigan. Cole, who stands 6-feet, 5-inches tall, pledged her services to the Wolverines after a week-long camp in Ann Arbor. Also a standout on the basketball court, Cole earned third-team all state in volleyball following her sophomore season in which she averaged 1.6 blocks and 3.4 kills per game.

Cole attracted a lot of attention from colleges across the country while playing with the Michigan Volleyball Academy (MVA) club team, which placed ninth at a national competition in Orlando.
