The Lakers answered right back two minutes later on Cody Berkobien’s 37-yard scoring run. Moments later, the Vikings muffed the kickoff and the Lakers scored on Mitch Kriger’s 5-yard run.
Keegan Wolter added a 3-yard touchdown run less than a minute later for a 56-27 advantage.
“This was the wildest quarter of football I’ve ever been a part of,” said Lakers’ coach Jerry Rabideau, whose team is now 2-2 overall and 2-1 in Lakes Eight play.
