SL sets 4 pool records in victory at Manistee

Spring Lake diver Wilhelmina Francisco scored a pool record of 227.20 at Manistee HIgh School on Thursday, helping lead the Lakers' swimming and diving team to a key victory over one of their top competitors in the Coastal Conference, 103-83. Francisco's effort led a 1-2-3 sweep for the Lakers in diving, as Makayla Boyink placed second (164.75) and Paige Rubleski was third (162.25).

Spring Lake added three more names to the pool record books at Manistee as Ginny Cotterall took first with a personal-best time of 2 minutes, 6.93 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle. She later set the pool record in the 500 freestyle, while Lydia Gleason established a new mark in the 100 breaststroke.
