Lakers' golf team struggles at state finals

Spring Lake's varsity girls golf team struggled to its worst round of the year at Friday's Division 3 state meet. The Lakers shot a 448, finishing last out of 15 teams at the event at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing. Elli Holman shot a 105 for Spring Lake, followed by Chezney Peel and Karissa Raschke with a 114 and Ginny Olszewski with a 115. The state competition continues with a second round today.

Spring Lake’s varsity girls golf team struggled to its worst round of the year at Friday’s Division 3 state meet.

The Lakers shot a 448, finishing last out of 15 teams at the event at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing.
