Trojans secure share of Lakes Eight title

Fruitport clinched a share of the Lakes Eight Conference championship on Friday, following the Trojans' shutout victory of host Grant, 21-0. Both the Trojans and rival Spring Lake Lakers finish with 6-1 league records. The Trojans limited the Tigers to just 111 total yards of offense and also had a defensive touchdown, when senior Amelio Flores recovered a Grant fumble in the end zone in the second quarter.
