WMC volleyball falls to N. Muskegon

Rachel Bruinsma finished with 25 kills, 19 digs and three blocks, but it wasn't enough as Western Michigan Christian fell to North Muskegon in five games.

The Warriors dropped the first two games, 25-21 and 27-25, then bounced back to win the next two, 25-18, 25-19. North Muskegon took the deciding fifth game, 15-13.

Elyse Ray had four blocks and 11 kills for WMC, while Julie Merz finished with 46 assists, four aces and 10 service points.

Vanessa Eekhoff had a strong night serving, finishing with 11 aces to go with 15 points and 11 kills, while Ashley Ott had 22 digs.
