Tri-Cities teams bow out in first round of playoffs

The first round of the state high school football playoffs was played tonight, with all three Tri-Cities-area teams bowing out in the first round.

Grand Haven came back in the second half, but lost to Grand Ledge, 21-14

Spring Lake traveled to Comstock Park for a Division 4 semifinal game. Comstock Park shut out Spring Lake, 37-0.

Fruitport was at East Grand Rapids for a Division 3 game. East Grand Rapids toppled the Trojans, 49-28.
