The Warriors, now 18-4-1 on the season, move on to Wednesday’s semifinal game at Cedar Springs, where they will face the winner of tonight’s game being played at Hope College between Kalamazoo Hackett and Grandville Calvin Christian.

Burt Lake, ranked No. 2 in the state in Division 4, ends the year at 24-1.

WMC got on the board 12 minutes into the game when the Eagles were whistled for a penalty in the box and junior Alec Breit connected on the penalty kick. Senior Matt Wisen got loose in front of the Eagles’ net and was taken down and Breit booted in the penalty kick.

Wisen then added the insurance goal 12 minutes into the second half.
