Haven hockey wins 3rd straight

Grand Haven's varsity hockey squad used a 41-17 advantage in shots to overpower Grandville on Wednesday, 4-2. Jordan Klaassen sparked the Buccaneers with a pair of goals. Ian Hibbard and Will Verduin each added single goals for Grand Haven, which is now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in O-K Tier I play. James Dyksterhouse, Asa Pellegrom and Doug Zelenka had assists for the Bucs. Mark Nalley was in goal, making 15 saves on the 17 shots he faced. Grandville goalie Sean Schmeister was busy all night, turning away 37 shots.
