The victory over Northview was especially sweet for the Buccaneers, who had lost to Wildcats earlier this year.

In that contest, goalie Ryan Henning stopped all 10 shots he faced to record the shutout. The Buccaneers fired 36 goals on the Wildcats’ net, with Adam Carlisle scoring two goals. Jared VanHeest, Lucas VanHeest, Joel Palmateer and Cole Carlson each had single goals.

Lucas VanHeest added two assists while Steven Dara, Brandt VanHeest, Andrew Lafrance, Carlson and Ryan Christiansen each had a helper.

On Sunday, the Bucs took on the Westshore Wildcats and won, 6-4. Zac Hansen was in net for the win, making 13 saves on 17 shots. The Bucs, on the other hand, fired 42 shots on the Wildcats’ goal.

Christiansen and Carlson each had two goals for the Bucs. Lucas VanHeest had a single goal, and Justin Vanderzwaag scored the game-winner.

Cole also had two assists while Carlisle, James Calkins, Spencer Paarlberg, Lucas VanHeest and Brandt VanHeest each had one assist for the Bucs (3-1).
